I found the movie to be a hidden gem especially in the aspect of Creech A.K. The "Monster" in this movie is actually brilliantly designed in both a biological aspect and a creative aspect, Creech has some of biological qualities that would make sence for a creature of this type if it were to be real Creech they took aspects from the Salamander with his appearance and his amphibious nature, he has the biological qualities starfish, octopus, squid, and bioluminescent deep sea creatures/jelly fish, ants/bees and electric eels, their bioluminescence is extremely smart trait because you need algae in order to make oil and you need light to produce algae. Creeches parents are like most aquatic species in the aspect that they have drastically different appearance between the male and female as you see with his parents. His personality is great and youthful he's like a toddler thats being unleashed on a whole new world but also like a toddler he still wants and needs his parents and seeks them out. But other than just Creech, the plot and dialogue its honestly simple but both great the characters may have been done before and maybe better but the devil is in the details despite being done before and possibly better the small details and the very big part of Creechs character design and personality as well as very well done CGI makes this film an instant family favorite that well leave a lasting impression and leave you wanting to know more and see more about Creech his parents and what they are capable of and where they may go next!
