My daughter was crazy about House of 1000 corpses, then Devils Rejects. A horror fan all of my life, I did not find anything redeeming about 1000 corpses. However, I'm a fan of William Forsythe. He gives a 250% performance every time he's on screen and he does not disappoint as Sheriff Wydell. He has a fantastic screen persona. Although I found this movie far too reminiscent of Texas Chainsaw Massacre and the motel room scene cringe worthy, overall it was a pretty good film. If you're a fan of 1970s television sitcoms, you'll see a lot of old, familiar faces.
