You know how movies tend to remove many scenes featured in their book counterparts until the book is like a large rain forest of rich flora and fauna, blooming everywhere and trees towering towards the skies, and the movie is like a fifty tree forest of half dead trees planted in the middle of a farm or something? They didn't even manage that this time. It's a single tree. A single, bare, half-dead tree in the middle of the Sahara. The people involved with writing and directing decided to take the characters and some vague portion of the plot... and then go somewhere else entirely. Badly. I consider the cast to be the only good thing about the movie, otherwise it barely gets a two out of ten. Would not recommend, thanks.
