A.S.Pickup I love this film; I've just returned from a third viewing and each time I appreciate it even more. I must have seen the live show about half a dozen times or more and after all the bad reviews thought the film must be a let down ...Far from it... The diction is clear which is a bonus and gives the viewer an even better appreciation of T.S. Eliot's poems; it's just as enjoyable as the live show but gives a different perspective and of course benefits from clever filming tricks. The whole cast are amazing and so aptly cast. Love all the dance,and of course the music, but must say...Steven McRae's tap is brilliant and each time I watch it I have tears in my eyes...it is so amazing! To my mind, some films get undeserved high ratings often unsuitable, because of content, for young people, whereas this would be suitable and enjoyable for all...I cannot understand all the poor reviews...it is entertainment at its best. .thank you.
