Some fun parts, some touching, but not one you’d rush to watch a second time.
I’ve to read the books, however most reviewers who have say this film is only loosely based on them (which explains their low reviews). Probably not a good one to watch if you loved the books, but worth watching once with the kids if you haven’t.
