I really hope the producers/creators of the series read my review. I had tears in my eyes, as I saw my favorite characters brought down in the final episode. Why show us the rise of Dany as a little girl to a strong powerful woman only to be shown as the crazy queen and murdered in the final episode? Dany would never kill innocent children and women shown in the second last episode. Why not show the rise of a powerful woman? Cersi- the evil queen dies under the rock-what a great ending. Two of the leading powerful women killed and we are in 2019. And Jon Snow-we saw his growth and his depth throughout the seasons only to be sent to the night’s watch at the end? He was pure, he was the good guy..the righteous one..the leader of thr North...and he has to commit murder at the end? That’s the character that was being built for him? What was the point of him being the rightful heir to the throne? Why all that drama around his birth- who was left to even care who he was? No drama, no hype hidden converstions.. disappointing. So, all that was just to shock us at the end (great from a writer’s point of view), horrible from an audience who have waited 7 seasons to see either Dany or Jon on the throne. The only winner was Sanza stark, but had 3 lines in an episode. We saw characters develop throughout the series. I would really like to see more episodes redone after the whitewalkers died. And choosing Bran? So basically, he knows it all...”why else I would be here” So he knew all along thats somehow supposed to make us feel okay with destroying kings landing? The best part of the final episode was all of King’s Landing is in ashes. All buildings destroyed and yet they show us the rooms from the beginning of the series inside the castle-all in tact -no fire no issues. I think that reminded me of some bollywood movies. GOT FANs -here is my imaginery highlights episode so for you (feel free to build it) After the battle with the whitewalkers, they all enjoy and celebrate. There is drama between Sanza and Dany-clashes over Jon. Jon is torn between the woman he loves and his sisters. Tension brews and Dany does things to annoy Sansa and vice cersa. More drama and twists around this theme. Meanwhile, the rest of the leaders learn about Jon Snow-tension starts to brew, new enemies and allies are formed. Cersi learns about who Jon is and invites him to King’s Landing. Sanza and Dany both stop him and he still goes. Dany and Sanza for their own respective love, go after him. In King’s landing, fancy parties, music Cersi being Cersi tries to manipulate Jon just as she tried to manipulate Ned Stark. Face-off between Dany n Cersi-more drama continues.... Fast forward-Finally at the end, Cersi gives up the right to the throne-fighting with Dany. Dany and Jon Snow face-off and Jon is given the Iron throne. Amen
