Just another inaccurate representation of Chinese culture that is directed by non-Chinese. Sure you had big names from a notable Chinese cast, you've got Donnie Yen, Jet Li, Gong Li, etc. though I feel like they were all miscast here. The cast members have no say in this because the directing team is mostly white/non-Asian. Had this movie been directed by actual Chinese movie directors or someone who is knowledgeable about Chinese history and culture at least you have a better storyline. Heck if Eddie Murphy had a role in this film where he lend his voice to Mushu this film could've been saved. Maybe. Again the cast were not meant for these roles. From the trailer I can already tell that the dialogue is cringey and the characters are one dimensional and that they are feeling forced to say their lines. You can easily tell that a movie is bad by looking at the poster/trailer without having to pay and see it. Save your time and money from this garbage. I won't get into the political stuff because if you've been following China Uncensored on YT there's already enough dirt on this film.
