With all due respect to the effort, they took to shoot the movie and all that. I do not understand who the target audience for this movie is or what they wanted an ordinary person like me to feel after watching this movie. It doesn't really have a story that is worth spending your time on. They were probably trying to give some kind of underlying hidden political message or something through the script. But in all honesty, I couldn't be bothered to even think about all that, because of the execution of the movie and complete lack of realism in the climax. No, a woman(no matter how righteous she is) would shoot her husband for 5 years, just because his statement indirectly led to the death of some random bloke in Sri Lanka or because he shot a couple of attackers to save her and himself. I'm pretty certain that if the makers of this movie were mobbed by a group of angry villagers, they would have done worse things to save themselves and their wives I am sure would not have shot them on their heads.
