This game is garbage. Bowser is OP as hell, and the car-style boards take away any semblance of strategy. The only positive thing I can say about this game is that it has a solid character roster, and it has a lot of really good minigames. But other than that, there's little about this game that is fun. It's quite a shame that this was the only Wii U Mario Party game.

How Nintendo managed to take an amazing concept and completely butcher it is beyond me, but that's what the Top 100 is all about. It was nice to see some classics like Hexagon Heat, Bumper Balls, Bombs Away, Shy Guy Says, Booksquirm, Pushy Penguins, and Leaf Leap, but that's really the only good stuff in the game. Other minigames are stupid. They even brought back Tug O War, which Nintendo had to send gloves for due to injuries. If you owned Mario Party back in the 90's you feel the same way. And on top of that, there is only ONE board to play on, and it's even worse than the boards in Mario Party 10. I do like the character roster, despite it being on the short side, and I think it would have been cool for Nintendo to ask the Mario Party community what games they would like to see in the Top 100, but laziness took over and ruined everything. Do not recommend getting this game.
