This was a 5 Star show until somebody got the brilliant idea to kill off Smurf in order to "freshen up the show".....She WAS the show...of all the characters you could have written out of the show - you chose Barkin? No longer worth watching....

Series seems to have lost something this past couple seasons to the point I stopped watching soon after the Lea pregnancy - need more of Shaun as a brilliant doctor - he is the show - and less about personal relationship with Lea - glad Carly from prior season is gone - that was worse - but who didn't see this coming with Lea - a snooze.... Much more interesting is (was) his relationship with Dr. Glassman. If they would refocus on that relationship - and maybe build up the role of Dr. Reznick-she is a fascinating character with so much good stuff to "explore" in what makes her tick - it might return to the top notch show it was in the earlier seasons!
