Direction cud be much better especially in some crucial stages like when the friend of Shiv was shot dead before him, when the father of Lateef was killed, when they were staying in refugee camps etc.
Best part of direction was: when Shiv and Shanti was called up by Lateef and a poetry was being recited in background.
