This movie started out wholesome but ended up being weird asf 😭 I thought it was going to be about navigating grief (which I mean it was but in the worst way possible) SPOILERS: The main character is a boy who is also a freshly high school graduate and he has an older sister and the sister has a same age best friend and he also has a girlfriend okay? and they all always hangout together and are really close OKAY? (You with me?) Then tragically, the sister passes away in a plane crash and the brother and sister’s friend are obviously devastated okay? BUT THEN Sister’s best friend tells brother that she can be his new sister (NOT OKAY 😀) but that doesn’t last long because they end up sleeping together😟 (mind you he’s still dating his girlfriend at this point) and come to find out the best friend slept with the sister’s ex and the sister a year prior was pregnant but got an abortion and best friend knew this whole time and didn’t tell the brother until the ex shows up at her door 🫠 brother becomes upset at what his sister’s best friend just told him and he goes back to his girlfriend but that doesn’t last long. In the end the sister’s best friend runs away and the brother tells his girlfriend everything and he’s just like: well now I’ve moved on 🙂 One star for the cinematography 🫡

Here is a REAL review: this movie is all for the vibes and aesthetics NOT the actual plot. The female lead only mopes around and is there to look pretty. Everyone in this film is lonely and an "outsider" and you're able to tell by the amount of cigarettes all the characters smoke (which is all the time) 👍😄. Some of the characters are annoying and weird but I guess that was what they were aiming for. I'm giving it two stars because the directing and camera effects were cool and also interesting look at. This def wasn't a film for me lol
