Compared ATLA it is not good. The story is fine and lacks details. The ALTA the creator shows the connection between ang and appa but in this there is no emotional or any kind of connection between korra and her polar bear dog. The creator tried to improve the animation but made it worse. The characters are unclear, whenever Iroh appeared in ALTA it would seem like a great man has come but in this when Iroh comes in spirit world it just nit creates that ora. Furthermore, when korra goes in avatar state it just looks like she is herself with glow in her eyes but whenever ang was in avatar state it seemed like he was something very powerful and had all elements controlled.
