A huge disappointment! Half a star. I loved the 1988 film of the same title, but this reboot is both boring and cringe-worthy. While the plot could have been promising, the script is filled with clichés, the new cast is made up of largely bland characters and, more pressing still, has a dearth of sweeping excitement that the original film had in spades.

I enjoyed watching this film with my teenage children even though I have not seen most of the other recent superhero films as they have. I was able to understand that there were parts that tied in from other films without feeling bothered that I was somehow missing part of the plot or feeling left out.

An enjoyable medical drama... before I worked in healthcare. I used to never questioned medical dramas and what the doctors said or did. But now, I see every flaw and laugh at absurd situations. First, Dr. House would have lost his license for his opioid addiction, secondly, doctors RARELY EVER do any of their own lab work as shown in a couple of episodes. And, most doctors have multiple patients that they see and prescribe treatments every day. Focus on one case by multiple doctors in a day is just unrealistic.

Although there are several historical inaccuracies in this "historical" drama, it is well scripted and well acted with great cinematography, a great story-line with action, drama and some comedy too.

Although the plot takes some time to really get going, it is well scripted and well acted with an engaging story-line. BUT, I didn't know that one show could have SO MANY "pop-culture" clichés. It is as if the author/writes were told to throw "art" out the door and make the plot as palatable to "modern sensitivities" as reasonably possible.

DEFINITELY NOT FOR KIDS. We thought it would be a good "family" film, but had to switch to something else because of the horrible foul language and other content. An okay flick for an evening when you have nothing else to do. It has great special effects and a fun story, but with a lot of swearing and sex jokes/innuendos it is definitely not for younger kids.
