Pretty impressive miniseries so far! I see the usual liberal slant - but I realize how hard it is for Hollywood leftists to be fair. Since I love Phyllis Schlafly I was disgusted by two cringe worthy parts in which she would clearly object to the portrayal (one was in bed with her husband ). There was a far too positive portrayal of divisive feminist Gloria Steinem. Dating blacks, and embracing lesbians - way back in 1972 ( while supporting the Black female presidential candidate ) is incredibly polarizing and radical! Why not depict how viciously anti-male she is? Watching Betty Freidan slander Schafly as "racist" seemed awfully true to life ( especially since liberals use that lie to smear all their opponents ). All in all -- a fair look back at the struggle to keep our highly successful traditional roles in place against the onslaught of radical feminism . It's also great knowing that family values will win out - and our hero Phyllis will emerge victorious.
