This show is amazing! The writing and acting is excellent. It does a wonderful job highlighting the myriad of issues in black culture, while making fun of some of the stereotypes. It's raw, edgy and honest. However, it's really frustrating that there are still some black people who are so shallow that they have no exposure to the diversity of black life. Because this is not your experience, doesn't make the experience invalid. I would also encourage the show's "critics" to google the backstory of Mr Barris' family dynamic and life. And for people who are not of African American descent, there are nuances of our culture that you don't understand and would probably not find humorous.
