I honestly did not like this movie. Rey being related to Palpatine shrinks the Star Wars universe, every Jedi/Sith doesn't need to be related. Most of the movie felt like a retcon of the Last Jedi, which in my opinion was a much better movie, although it also had it's flaws. This movie is just a re-skin of Return of the Jedi and that is possibly the worst thing it could be. It's a decently shot film with some good acting and some redeeming scenes (C-3PO is actually really likable in this film), but this movie overall was meh. Not telling anyone not to watch it, but it was not a satisfying conclusion to the saga.
