The definitive version of the game. Not only did it completely recreate the graphics, it also improved the inventory system. This game is a classic for a reason. Dungeons to explore, items to find and use, puzzles, a gorgeous soundtrack, enemies to fight, and an intriguing story and cast of characters. All in 3d. In this remake, the N64-esque polygons are no more with smoothed out and more detailed character models and textures. Most everything remains intact from the original, with a few minor differences that won't completely change the experience. The lighting was "fixed" for better or worse, making places that were dark and gloomy in the original bright and perfectly visible. The fight with the final boss at the end of the game is perhaps the best example. What was once an atmospheric battle, illuminated only by lightning in the original, is cloaked with light in the remake. One could argue that this is the remakes most glaring issue. The remake still remains mostly true to the source material and for the greatest game of all time for many people to be portable at a low low price of twenty us dollars, there's absolutely no reason not to add this outstanding reimagining of a timeless classic to your 3ds collection.
