It wasn't a mindblowing experience as compared to say Infinity War but that's not to say that this movie failed. The film had a fresh amount of buddy-cop comedy between Danvers and Fury as well as with Talos that kept the mood light but also had the right amount of plot twists that kept you engaged such as when we find that Yon-Rogg has been plotting against Danvers the entire time. That said, the movie still left a little bit to be desired. As has already been said in other reviews, Danvers lacks much of challenge throughout the film and rather easily overpowers her opponents, leaving little to no room for character development and relatability. The pace of the film was also rather quick and didn't last too long on any single plot point, making it harder to remember what had happened before. The only major scenes were the ones we saw in the trailers where she finds the Skrull on a train and when she harnesses her full power. Again, not a bad film. I still enjoyed it as a general fan of comics but I left wanting a little bit more
