I'm only giving this movie a 1 star rating due to the way it ended. Although I'm definitely not a fan of zombie movies, this one was cool all the way through up until the end.

Didn't see it, and don't plan to. I was super excited for this film and waited for a whole year for it to debut. It was promised to stream on HBO MAX on Christmas Day, then all of the sudden it was only available in theaters (I absolutely loathe going to the movies) so that was out ✌🏽🚮😞. Then we find out it is nothing more than a musical and not a "more modern"'version of the 1980s classic. Maybe I'll see what it's hitting for when it comes on 123Movies, but there is no way in hell I'm going to spend my money and time in a theater watching a souped up version of a high school play. Oprah, I'm disappointed in you 😣

I would have given it a 4 star rating had it not ended like that smh

Long winded to say the least. I was about 45 minutes into the movie and I still didn't know what was even going on. The daughter being obsessed with friends for some reason and them emphasizing and making a complete storyline out of it was completely unnecessary and served no purpose The deer scenes weren't necessary at all. I'm still trying to find out what their purpose was. Warning them from danger? Who knows smh Julia Robert's character and the Owner of the house getting that close was an unnecessary storyline too. And finally after a short nap, I wake up to find the son pulling out his teeth 🤦🏽‍♀️😂 like why? Lol ...all in all this was one of the worse movies I ever seen. I ended up going to bed like 15 mins before the ending. I just couldn't any more

I really did love this show and I am very upset I had to stop watching it due to the horrible racist jokes!! “Do u keep your slaves in cages”, “let’s leave before someone calls the NNACP”, “it’s not an ant farm it’s an ant plantation” “The black lady…no, not her the OTHER black lady” “Big trouble little China” “Let’s see which way “Tokyo is drifting (in ref to reggie) then there was the “12 years a slave lyric in one of the musical episodes” There were more as well! I can’t believe they would actually let something like that air!!! It’s a shame too bc it really is an addictive show, but I was just done due to the racist remarks smh
