Chloe Fung

This came on TV so I decided to watch. Man it was pretty darned great! The characters are clearly designed in such a witty, clever way. Thoroughly enjoyed the animation as well, and the writing! From the simple plot there's great gems of lines in there. If you want something light hearted, but does also have some meaningful themes, this is it for you.

In the beginning I thought it was full of boring typical tropes (broody popular guy, seemingly helpless doe eyed girl). But as the show went on, I really grew to adore eun woo's character and the pure relationship dynamics between our two main characters. Also really love the contrast between that whether you have merely inner beauty or external beauty, the two girls also went through many similar struggles. The difference is in how, and whether the way the world treated them, changed their hearts. Mi rae stayed kind and silently strong, whilst sooa allowed jealousy to get the best of her and seemed fine allowing her appearance to be her only winning point. Despite the sometimes v dramatic and slow filming (some scenes u can keep fast forwarding it lmao) I really, really liked this drama honestly because of the lessons it taught. And I don't say that very often about many kdramas.
