CDPR made a massive, intricate, beautiful game. Where there are characters that operate independently of you and your decisions affect the story. It wasn’t finished. That’s obvious. But with the death threats they were receiving it would have been stupid to push it back any further. All the same they’ve apologized, offered free refunds, and are working actively to not only fix the bugs, but give us free DLC as we speak. You can’t claim to love video games AND be angry and impatient when the people who provide them to you experience genuine friction. They’re doing their best and I love the game.

Spoiler-free 😉 The graphics are great, the gameplay clever and fluid. It’s a lot more open world than the last one which is really nice! I became invested very quickly. (I’m about 4 hours in right now.) And I’m really enjoying it. A lot of these poor reviews stem from Ellie being in a same-sex relationship. At one point they do find weed and smoke it, as well. Oh no drugs and sexual activity, how horrible.😱 Are we in middle school? 🙄
