The Holy Mountain is a near perfect film. This film is very magnificent, meticulous, strange, and wonderful that is great for discussions on the meaning of the film. Some thought-provoking ideas are portrayed in a way that flows naturally with the film, and so, the film does not stop to portray its meaning. The best aspect of the film is its weird, interesting imagery; the film shows very interesting things, and the sets are amazingly done. There are things in the film that, at first watching, I felt it was out of place and strange, but after a second viewing, I saw how purposeful they are. The film is very unique and has an unconventional storyline. If you are going to watch this film, do not have any expectations for a regular, three-act structure or anything really.
