It’s not that I don’t like the last of us 2 it’s just like I don’t know I feel the first game had a more realistic story like in the first game the first 3 hours are brutal and you see how time has made Joel who he was and throughout the whole game Ellie breaks him down and he lets her in. In the beginning of the second game you smoke weed, have sex, the death of Joel, and a pregnancy twist from Dina..... like I just feel the first one had more of a grounded story and not like a zombie drama like the walking dead the second one is like. Now I still love the game and seeing Ellie grown up and definitely the death of Joel and even Tommy Made me cry like a baby. I just think that the story is trying to hard to be a drama like those zombie shows and it’s a little off putting after years of playing and crying to the first game.
