I never watched the X-Files but I think I liked Stella. (Gillian Anderson) I know I heard the X-Files theme music subtly playing as background. When a show takes such a drastic turn for the worst, I can't help wonder what happened on the other side of the camera. Did the original writers just walk off the set and they shot darts at a board for ending this mess? Season 3 was the hardest to watch and it took me twice as long as Season 1 & 2 combined. They started to develop story lines for some of the characters way too late as the end couldn't get here fast enough. That ICU nurse drove me nuts. Dad-dee. UGH!
