Despite the hate from the Fandom, this is my sons favourite Thomas, but even he does not think it is part of the Real Thomas series, we have began to call this the Thomas Mini's Series because they are more like the Mini Sets than the real toys, as my son loves this spin off (I cannot call it a reboot, since it is far too different and I do not care that Brit Elkland was behind this mess. it does make the more recent Thomas personality make sense, in recent years Thomas became selfish, ignorant and whiney like a child and now in this series it fits, the series is a good children's show but it will not serve well into selling the old series to the new kids that come because they are far too different.
4 stars because my son loves it, as a small kids show it does well, a continuation of the Thomas Series it is a "train wreck" and should not be considered as such, it is its own series separate to the original series and concept. my son loves this though, and so I repeat this is why the 4 stars, that and the fact that despite the massive changes and alterations to characters we all know and love, the show is well made. if you can separate it from it's peers and predecessors, and the fact that in certain ways it feels like they are copying Chugginton.
