I have read all the books in grishaverse , and i've got to say that the series was nowhere near the books. And that bothered me a lot. Specially because the six of crows duology was really a work of art and it was very genius of leigh and the ideas and plans were clever and amazing. I find feeding butterflies to a person as an antidote which only god knows how he was able to catch them, neither genius or amazing . It was more childish. So i recommend the books over the tv show. But i imagine if i hadn't read the books first, i would've enjoyed the series a lot
