I read it as a child, about 65 years ago. I loved it. Ihave never forgotten it. Now, at age 75, I'm going to try to find it and buy a copy for my adult self. It's a fantasically good, engrossing book Sweet, adventurous, deeply engaging. I don't remember the actual story, but just how happy the book made me.
