I have lived and experienced first hand, the rigors of caring for, and witnessing the slow decline in my mother in law's cognitive thinking. It is very painful to watch let alone live with this debilitating disease. Nick Noltes portrail of Amadeus' dementia progression, speaks volumes as to his acting versatility. Mr. Nolte, in my opinion, (not that it matters much) performed flawlessly in this production. He has truly demonstrated that he is a master of his craft. He should have been at least nominated for some kind of an award.
