I loved the film, and was captivated from the very beginning. Both actors did so well, in what was not easy to bring off. It could have been dull and obvious, but NO, NO, the characters were both complex and then surprising. It could have been a very different ending but turned out sort of 'happily ever after,' and left me feeling that both men deserved it.
