Season 1 is great / Season 2 is horrible This opinion (which is now confirmed as more objective than subjective) is simple: They fixed something that was not broken. The plot of this tv show is supposed to be about survival but all that season 2 does is take you on a journey that is ultimately boring, confusing, and irrelevant. The acting is terrible and Ellie is simply not a believable nor likable character. Selfish, arrogant, and utterly useless in every conceivable way, it seems like the writers killed off the wrong main character.

A unique and well-made film perfect for any Viking lover. Excellent acting, intense fight scenes, an engaging storyline. I also love how they incorporate Norse mythology into the story.

As a Roman history, enthusiast, I can honestly say that this show is a well-executed mix of fact and fiction. The way that Rome is portrayed, it’s narrow streets, warring factions, and near religious obsession for chariot racing is very accurate. I also appreciate that the gladiators are portrayed as big burly individuals rather than Spartacus-style guys with six packs and chiseled chins. Of course there is some fiction mixed in, but this is a drama and that is expected. Overall, the show is definitely worth watching and is a breath of fresh air when it comes to shows about Rome. The storylines mix together well and there’s plenty of action and intrigue. Definitely check out this show!

So at first I was intrigued by the film and I gave it two stars because it had the makings of a great film but the more I watched it the worse it got. Story line is not hard to follow but it is hard to get invested in. Acting is so-so and the film is largely just boring dialogue that contributes little to the story. Overall, the film was just boring and uninteresting. I watched it on a plane and it put me to sleep; and I am not usually able to sleep on planes so I would say that that was the film's main achievement.

One of the best war films I’ve seen in a while. It shows not only the gritty realism of modern combat but also the more mundane everyday lives of soldiers on the frontlines. Battle scenes are exciting and very well done!

Disney should not have even bothered making this film. It’s nothing at all like the original (which is what many Disney fans were hoping for). The story line is basic, boring, and shallow as a tide pool. The characters are unoriginal and uninteresting. Many characters also seem to have the ability to defy the laws the physics for whatever reason. This remake made 2020 that much more terrible. All in all, a highly disappointing film.
