If you're going into this movie expecting the beautiful 2D art style of traditional Ghibli films, you're going to be disappointed. It's a 3D style. It's not the best but if I'm being honest it's not the worst I've ever seen. The storyline isn't the best either, it's a bit dry but it's not as bad as everyone's making it out to be. Yes, Earwig is a brat. She's manipulative and disrespectful, especially by the end of the movie. But she was interesting to watch. My favourite character overall was Mandrake. His design is unique and I love his character a lot. Bella Yaga was rude and repulsive but her character is consistent. Overall, this movie wasn't terrible. I'd say it's a one time watch. Anyone more than that and it starts to look even worse than it is. I'd mainly watch it again for the expressions and body language.
