Linley Butler

This is something different for me - an arthouse movie based-on-a-true story, set back in time in rural Finland, with characters not known or obviously appealing to me, with a theme of love and loss and the artistic temperament. But I was impressed. Beautifully made, skilfully acted, directed and edited, it rarely faltered for me. I will be watching out for new releases directed by Antti Jokinen, or starring Laura Birn.
