Such a shame that the screenplay and directing was so poor. 1. Do we really believe that a pub landlord would ask a customer would they like hot water? 2. The Pasty shop girl scene was ropey - a sullen badly acted young man hanging around a pasty shop? 3. The druggy girl in the bus shelter character was never developed. 4. Ranting old characters popped up each time they wild camped. 5. The first hour - there was no script, just a series of grunts and mumbles. 6. They set off from Somerset and walked to Devon in later scenes they were back in Somerset!! 7. Moth does a bit of public speaking and poetry - his wife goes around with a hat and people put money into it? Why not make it more plausible and busk for money…but poetry? Sorry but there was no character development the plot was lame. The public acts of kindness could have been developed. Watch it and see for yourself.

The worst 2nd series ever (written?) Absolutely lost the plot after episode 2 of the second series. Um, what shall we write now? Oh, let’s have some flashbacks and romance and dream sequences. The finale was also poorly written. DISAPPOINTING

Tripe. After 2 hours it seems like an over stretched Black Mirror episode. Everyone smoking? In the office? Is the show sponsored by a tobacco company? Jack Snacks effing and blinding in every scene. Police officer with victims photos pinned on the office wall.. Poor effort.

Best thing on Netflix for ages. Gripping true story.

More holes in the plot than a Swiss cheese. A man bumps into a woman in the middle of nowhere and they drive 4 hours to a remote outback town. They then find a quarry where a man is buried. In this huge quarry he notices a breather pipe that leads him to the buried body. Implausible

Implausible. Man goes to toilet in jungle and finds gold bar. Same man gets yanked off land mine and survives. Three hostages are tied up but in walking scene have no ropes on wrists (they re-appear in next scene). Shoddy work. And shoddy script.

Humourless. Implausible, poorly written script lets this nonsense down. The plot can reveal a murder, abduction and the Byrdes nonchalantly scamming the FBI and Drug Cartels within minutes of each other. The characters have no depth and are frankly laughable. Typical Netflix tick box nonsense.
