I have played every AC game since the first one... and this game is the worst game I’ve ever played in my entire life. I can’t believe there are any good reviews for it at all. I honestly don’t know if we were playing the same game? It’s clear a lot of work went into making a visually stunning game... and it is absolutely gorgeous... but that’s it. It’s the most grinding game I’ve ever played. I wish I could give it zero stars. Navigating the quest tree, tracking where you are even supposed to be going... stupidly complicated. Over and over it’s the same thing: loot forts, destroy defenses. WE GET IT. You’re either killing Cultists or other mercenaries. And what’s up with not being able to pet dogs?! At least you could do that in RDR2. The new fighting controls are complete garbage. I’ve had it crash on me on PS4. SAVE ALL THE TIME. I’ve had to go back and repeat missions (which I didn’t even enjoy the first time) because I died from a bobcat attack or random whatever. I’m just grateful I bought this on sale for 14.99 instead of 59.99 because I would be enraged. Thank Apollo.
