I think Planet of the Humans does a good job with describing the intertwining of corporate involvement with the environmental movement. What started out in 1970 as a movement to get rid of pollution and reduce hazardous waste now involves co-opting of green products and ideas through corporate profits by "green washing" which takes honest environmental concerns and turns them into corporate ways to make money.
However, this documentary movie is primarily concerned with biomass and fossil fuels like petroleum, coal, and natural gas to make up the gap in energy production that wind, solar, and hydro can't meet for excessive human consumption.
It would have been nice to see the difference in air, water, and earth quality pre- and post- COVID-19, but this film doesn't get that far. If there is an addendum, maybe it can address this issue in the future.
