This movie is all about Jennifer Lawrence's Skills as an Actor & Darren Aronofsky's creativity. It's similar to his previous film "The Fountain" both not being a straightforward film, but more philosophical. The movie is quite complex and I had to read explanations to get a hold of it. It is based on the essence from Bible and Human history and unless you know a bit of it, you can't appreciate the film for what it is. The movie is thrilling for most part and you are eager to learn what's going on but things get so crazy midway (but you might not get bored, just that it's utter insanity) that you can't see the point of the movie or where it is heading to. The ending of the movie is not bad, giving you a small suprise and makes you rethink what you've just seen. This is just a display of Darren's creativity and Jenn's acting. Overall, the movie is engaging but doesn't address its points straightaway, and tests your patience. The movie is 2 hours long and I didn't get bored while watching it.
