Dont purposely take a beloved franchise and character only to use for buzz and word of mouth and pull a bait and switch. Hollywood will learn when the fans continue to speak out, not watch, and not pay to see this trash. How hard is it to take an already created character, and just add extra story. Update anime, bring characters, new story. They do not need a complete rework, or redesign. It was already proven. It would be like taking thundercats and making thunder dogs, or better 1st deadpool in wolverine origins "let's take merc with a mouth, and make him silent" are they trying to sabotage these characters on purpose.
