For you Cold War history buffs, this series is one of the best I've seen, perhaps the best. You really get a feel for communism given that the focus is mostly on East Germany and its tragic utopian experiment. Great character development, plots, dialogue, etc. I won't give anything away that history hasn't informed us already, but the transformation of Germany into two countries from its recent Nazi past is very well developed. Again, you have got to see this!
