I found the book quite hard going . I didn’t really get into it until I was quarter of the way through. I do like the story and wanted to know more as I read, but I quite often glazed over all the scientific parts, they were too long and too in depth. I liked the characters, there are a good assortment of good and bad. The off grid commune was a good part of the story, where the world was resorting to violence to get by, the commune just wanted peace and to help others. I want to know what happens next, but I don’t think I’d read the following books. I am an avid reader and read most of my books in one go, I like my books to flow and sadly this book didn’t flow for me.
