Heather Ventus

This movie I have to say is one of the worst representations of Chernobyl I have ever seen. It's much to Hollywood-esque and the setting is all wrong. The Chernobyl Nuclear plant isn't one of those large concrete cone like structures, the actual chernobyl plant is one that is very narrow. Those plants (like the one depicted in the film) are much more modern. Carrying on, I dislike the slasher Zombie flick, it is an worn out trope that should have no place in Chernobyl. I feel like there should have been more psychological horror to the film. Maybe they should have visited the Kindergarden and maybe you could have done something with that. Though I do have to say the Apartment building scene was very well done, I appreciated the peeling paint and the worn out look of the area, but that would be the only thing I enjoy about this movie... The ending was pointless, why waste the Radiation Medication if you're just going to kill them at the end? That medication isn't cheap. Overall 3.5/10
