David cage is a complete Hack. At every turn, the writing is abysmal and terrible. The subtlety is that of a brick to the face when it comes to its themes of robo racism. It uses all the strong imagery of black slavery, but never commits to actually addressing it. And of course it have all of cage's schlocky tropes like of course there's a stripper scene, and pushy forced love interest that has zero chemistry. Cage thinks he's a true educated "Auteur" that's writing about grand ideals about the human condition and the real struggles of race and class, when really he's just patting himself on the back and smelling his own farts for saying "racism is bad".
