This thriller series is pretty much perfect. Nicole Kidman, Hugh Grant (not at all the old, familiar Hugh Grant), and Donald Sutherland are superb. Kidman worked with David E. Kelly and together they created a very intricate murder mystery. Sutherland is extraordinary in this series. At times, he actually made the hair on my arms stand up and I felt afraid. I am however having a hard time with the way the young son of Kidman and Grant’s characters is being summarily ignored or being forced to learn things about his parents that he doesn’t need to know. The young actor, Noah Jupe is extremely talented in his portrayal of a frightened, confused, and grieving young boy. Nicole Kidman is as talented as she is beautiful. I’ve never seen her look more lovely.
