I've watched this series multiple times and have no complaints. I think it just launched at the wrong time.
It bares many similarities with the Judge Dredd universe thematically, a large futuristic city surrounded by a wall, tough emotionless officers, a wild gun lead with serious baggage getting things done and some strong female characters.
The Science Fiction genre needs more shows like this in my humble opinion.
