I really enjoyed this series and I think it's definetely worth the watch. Very diverse cast, which I loved, and good messages throughout the show. Not too violent, but good action. If you like fantasy, medieval shows, underdog stories and plot twists, give this show a try. I watched the show with subtitles, just because sometimes it's hard to understand exactly what they're saying, and it also helps me remember the characters' names. There are a lot of different characters in the show, and it can get a bit confusing! SPOILERS: I really loved Lavinia as a character. She was smart, funny, self-confident, strong, and brave. I think the actress did a great job portraying her. I was super shocked when I found out that Tiuri didn't have the powers, and it had been Lavinia all along. I think that was a really well done plot twist. Although, Lavinia's reaction was a bit weird, and I didn't like how she just left but then randomly showed up later. The ending was dissapointing in my opinion, because it kind of seemed depressing. Lavinia and Viridian's fight scene was kind of boring, Jussipo died, which made me really upset, because I really liked Jussipo and Foldo together. I really think that killing him off was kind of pointless, it added nothing to the plot. And also, it was just a stab wound, which most people can heal from easily. Also, Lavinia has magic powers, so shouldn't she be able to heal him? We also didn't really see much development in Tiuri and Lavinia's relationship. When she left she seemed pretty upset, and I think Tiuri would probably be a bit mad about her leaving. Bt they didn't dicuss it after or anything, they just seemed to forgive each other. Also, the kiss scene confused me; are they a couple now? Does Tiuri feel the same way?? I really liked how they followed the Novices' story as well, not just Tiuri's. It was fun to see the team's dynamics, and Foldo and Jussipo's relationship develop. Also, I love Iona, she's just so awesome and badass, and she's quite ruthless. Overall, good show, lovable characters, and good plot. I was dissapointed by the ending, but I hope they can do better in season 2!
