When I say that this show is IT, i mean it! Not only does it leave you on the edge of your seat in every single episode for 45 minutes straight, but it just contains plot twists and storylines you could never expect! And don’t get me started on the acting... it’s unbelievable. Viola Davis deserves way more recognition for her role in this show and definitely way more awards. This goes to the rest of the cast too! It’s not easy to find thrilling and addicting shows these days with such amazing and incredible storylines that leave you shocked and amazed at the same time... but this show has it all honestly. You’ll find yourself crying, laughing, smiling and having a wide open mouth cos of all the shocking moments. I also love how they included people of different ethnicities in the main/recurring cast and have a woman of color as the lead actress! Truly phenomenal. Also, love how the LGBTQ+ community was always somehow and someway included in the show and in its storylines. It was sad to see this show end, but it couldn’t have ended at a better time. Six seasons felt like the perfect time to end it. Without a doubt, I give this show an 11/10. Highly and strictly recommend it!

This is honestly one of the best shows I’ve watched! The plot of every episode is interesting and unique in its own way. And it’s not the cop show that just goes like ‘there’s a crime to solve and that’s it’. It’s more than that! It’s very character driven and focuses a lot on the characters and gives them interesting and great storylines! Also, I think that the relationship between Steve and Danny is honestly the glue of this show. Without it, it wouldn’t be as good and as famous. Alex O’Loughlin and Scott Caan did an amazing job at playing their respective characters! And I don’t think McDanno could’ve been as loved and as good if both Scott and Alex weren’t real friends in real life. And that goes to the rest of the cast. It really looks and feels like they all have genuine love and affection to one another. Plus, the acting is also really good! It isn’t cringy or bad or forced in my opinion, and it sure doesn’t feel and look like it! Although the show changed and felt a little different when DDK and Grace Park, it still is really great. I truly recommend it! There’s crime, action, drama, comedy, suspense, love and affection, romance, amazing partnership and friendships, great storylines and so on!
