*Spoilers ahead, read after watching*** It started off so good and I was really enjoying the mild suspense. I was extremely disappointed by the end. I wanted the husband to wake up, save the day, and apologize to his wife for not believing her. The characters just didn't deserve this ending.

It kept me entertained during a flight, and had a few jump scares. However, none of the characters were particularly likable, including the cat (which I thought was AI but apparently was played by 2 real cats). Although the actors did a good job of making me feel the fear through the screen, the ending was disappointing, because who would really decide to go out like that? Aside from that, all I can say is -- pizza had WAY too big of a role in this movie.

I've never written a movie review before, but this one compelled me to say something. This was by far the most unpredictable movie I've seen in recent years. At the end, I found myself taking note of the director which I never do. The big name comedic actors were a treat. Benjamin Walker's performance as the sheriff was superb. The scenes with him and his niece were completely adorable. I'm a big fan of this one. That is all.

Y'all. I had never seen Hamilton before, despite all the hype, but a few of my high school US history students asked if we could watch it in class. I looked into it and saw it would be historically accurate enough to learn from. So I've been playing it for my classes, and let me tell you. I'm in the back of my classroom trying not to dance and sing the words, these catchy words and rhythms that are quickly becoming permanent memories in my brain. I love it. I love it so much! Creative lyrics, certified bops, and historical. I'm absolutely enthralled. By the end of my career I'll be singing Hamilton songs in my sleep. 10 stars from me!

I laughed so much. Touching but also perfect comedy. It's one of my new faves for a light-hearted pick-me-up rewatch.

I never expected to tear up with this movie, but I could have full-on sobbed if I let myself. Just beautifully done. Hit me right in the feels so many times I lost track.

Good cinematic film with old timey vibes and a STUNNING ship. Of course you will realize they could have solved the problem in a MUCH better way, which was irksome, but people usually don’t think logically when in a panic so I’ll give it a pass. It was a fun watch and very balanced between horror and sentimental moments.

Fun yet serious, silly but moving. It felt well-balanced in all its contradictions. One mind trip after another with tons of laughs. Margot played the part beautifully figuratively and literally. I loved the two main Kens and couldn't have laughed harder at how well they played their ridiculous scenes.

The music score was incredible, and paired with dialogue had me biting my nails on the edge of my seat. It was emotionally tense from beginning to end. Incredible performance by Cillian Murphy. I soaked up every word, every facial expression like spilled merlot on white carpet. He is brilliant. There is no other actor on his level. Emily Blunt as the supportive wife and witty logician especially in the “kangaroo court” was inspiring. Alden Ehrenreich’s facial expressions at the end of the movie made me laugh, out loud, providing much-needed comedic relief after 3 hours of emotional distress. The plot twist was unexpected. I wanted to stand and clap and cheer at the end but alas the theater was dead quiet. I feel like the movie deserved a standing ovation however. Every single person who worked on that movie should celebrate. One of the greatest movies of our time.
