How did the last of us part 2 beat this game for game of the year? That's it... that's the review.

First of all, I think critics were a little brutal on this one. It wasn't excellent but it was acceptable. It's a fun movie that I think would be a suitable family movie but not much other than that. For 2020 movies it was one of the better ones (doesn't help that the 2020 film lineup has been disappointing) but still not fantastic. So if you're looking for a goofy family movie with a lot of familiar faces - or in this case, voices - then I would give this movie a try.

I kinda wish this movie was a little bit longer and was more focused on scorpion's origin rather than the Mortal Kombat tournament, but other than that I really enjoyed it and would recommend this to anyone who is also a fan of Mortal Kombat.

Terrible acting and a very uninteresting storyline

Don't get me wrong, it was a great movie (I saw it twice already), but it wasn't the movie that should've ended the Skywalker Saga. This trilogy in general wasn't really that good but the Rise of Skywalker definitely gave it some relevance. It was beautifully done and the characters felt like they had a purpose in this movie. And it was definitely a fan service for sure. But that's not a bad thing. At all. This movie isn't perfect either. It has it's flaws but critics were a little too rough on this one. I personally think it's worth experiencing because the experience is insane. But I still think it isn't perfect.
