This movie is a treat for fans, showing that star wars can be dark. The visuals are nothing short of amazing and the story is very well done. It shows the darkness of both sides and is not afraid to show death, sacrifice and the horrors of war. It also does a great job of showing the power of the empire and vader in their prime.

It's very evident watching rise of skywalker that the script was rushed and quite bare. The movie offers great visuals and good narrative in some parts, but not much more. If the script was refined and ending cutout, this would have made for a good episode 8 replacing tlj.
