I’m am a huge fan of the Gorillaz and have been since the early 2000’s. Let’s just say I will continue to be a big fan of their music but as for their docu’movies.... reluctantly I have to say not so much. I was hoping for a bit more detail on how it all came to be, a discussion on their past and what’s planned for the future in their own words. This reminded me of a MTV show that I would have turned the channel on in minutes. I really didn’t need to see the multiple variations of the same cycle. The theater we saw it at had the sound so low I had problems deciphering some of the words spoken. I was kind of hoping for more music, more volume, more bass and animations. And my final note and that’s with the fear that my lovely wife was going to hate this as she doesn’t really care for them were all washed away as she slept pretty much the entire show/movie.
